 Nuremberg, a historic medieval city, is one of Germany's most prominent hubs for arts and culture and is known for its medieval walls, ancient castles, gingerbread cookies, Gothic churches, etc. Nuremberg has done an excellent job in preserving the historic city walls. On the west side of the Old Town, between the huge Spittlertor and the ancient Maxtor, the best section of walls may be found. The Germanic National Museum has a massive collection of German art and culture in the country. The superb Toy Museum in Nuremberg, usually recognized as the world's best, is a pleasant attraction for youngsters of all ages - and adults.

Located in Bavaria, Nuremberg Castle is one of the most important imperial castles of the holy roman empire and undoubtedly Europe's most formidable medieval fortification. Built on a huge sandstone rock, the castle was home to almost every king of the Holy Roman Empire, between 1050 and 1571. Sinwell Tower, The Deep Well, The Double Chapel are some of the notable landmark inside the castle.
